Andrew L. Peters

Andrew L. Peters, 20, of rural Bellevue passed away on September 16, 2017 at Jackson County Regional Health Center of heart complications.

His funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church in Springbrook. A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church in Springbrook. Burial will be held at St. John’s Cemetery in Andrew. Lahey & Dawson Funeral Services of Maquoketa is assisting the family.

Andrew Lee was born on December 22, 1996 in Clinton, Iowa. His parents are Steve and Sherry (Boal) Peters of Bellevue. He graduated from Bellevue High School in 2016 he then went on to earn his Welding Certificate. Andrew’s passion was being a farmer. He helped on the family farm and also neighbor’s farms. He enjoyed driving the tractor, combine and four-wheeler. He spent his free time making memories with his friends and nieces whom he cherished dearly.

Andrew was a member of St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church in Springbrook, Bellevue FFA and was very active in 4-H in his school years.

Those left to cherish his memories are his parents Steve and Sherry of Bellevue, a sister Steffany (Bryan) Duhme of Maquoketa, twin brothers Cody and Tyler Peters of Bellevue, two nieces Coralee and JeAnn Duhme, paternal grandmother Lavonne Peters of Bellevue, maternal grandparents Wesley (Carol) Boal and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Floyd Peters.

Memorials may be directed to his family in his honor.
