Ann F. Patzkowsky

Ann Patzkowsky, 58, of Stanwood passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids.

Her Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m.  on Monday, January 15, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tipton. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 2:00 to 6:30 p.m. at St, Mary’s Catholic Church, where a Vigil Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Tipton. Lahey & Dawson Funeral Services is assisting the family at this time.

Ann was born on June 29, 1959 in DeWitt to Francis “Swede” & Marcelene (Heuertz) Skeffington. She graduated from Central Community School in 1977 and attended Mount Mercy.  She was married on January 25,1986 in Dewitt, Iowa to Timothy Patzkowsky.

She worked as a Special Ed Associate at Tipton Elementary. She loved helping others out and was always right there to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed going to the river, swimming and reading.   

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Tim of Stanwood, three children TJ of Orlando, Philip of Stanwood, Ryan of  Muscatine, one grandson Joey, siblings; Mary (Dale) McMahon of DeWitt, Bill Skeffington of Phoenix, Mike (Maruja) Skeffington of Orlando and Tom (Marcie) Skeffington of DeWitt, many nieces and nephew and a brother-in-law John Sander of DeWitt.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Patricia Sander and a sister-in-law Jan Skeffington.
