She & I shared great memories when we become friends, then before I knew it she was my maid of honor, we saw each other last at a get together & picked up as if time had stopped . I was so saddened to learn of Ann’s passing. She not only worked in my classroom in Mechanicsville, but also as parents supporting our NC kids. She was so compassionate but did not hesitate to speak her mind. Her family was her #1 priority and anytime I saw her, she proudly would give me updates on each of you. Rest In Peace Ann and I pray for your family to remember the things that give you comfort.

So sorry to hear about Ann my sympathy goes out to her family. Used to visit with Ann and Bill when we were visiting my Aunt Beverly and Uncle Ed. It was a shock to hear.

I am so saddened to hear of Ann’s passing.
Ann played a special role in my life as you know. She was like my Fourth big sister and sixth mother behind my sisters, Mom and Marcelene of course. She was never afraid to speak her mind and that is something that I wish that I did more of.May her strength and courage encourage us all to help others and love others as much as she did.
