Billy E. Tarbox

Bill Tarbox, 68, of Cedar Rapids passed away on January 2, 2017 in his home.  

His Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at The American Legion in Olin, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Olin Cemetery at a later date. 

Bill Earl Tarbox was born on January 31, 1948 to Lewis and Mildred (Thumma) Tarbox. He served faithfully and honorably for  20 years in the United States Navy. He worked as a CPA Accountant in Cedar Rapids and Anamosa and was a Cedar Rapids transportation bus driver.

Those left to cherish his memories are his brothers; Richard Tarbox of Rose Hill Kansas, Marvin (Barbara) Tarbox of Bakersville, California, Sam (Linda) Tarbox of Cedar Rapids, Harold (Lorna) Tarbox of Olin, Danny (Karen) Tarbox of Olin, sisters; Marcia Strack of Lancaster, Wisconsin, and Connie (Dennis) Williams of Vallica, Iowa.

 He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Carol and sister-in-law Pam.
