Keith J. Wagner

Keith J. Wagner, 57, of Maquoketa passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Jackson County Hospital in Maquoketa.

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Lahey Funeral Home in Maquoketa where a visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A visitation will be held on Friday from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Lahey Funeral Home in Maquoketa. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Maquoketa.

Keith Joseph was born on November 24, 1959 in Maquoketa to Norbert and Marie (Franzen) Wagner. He graduates from Clinton Community College. On February 14, 1997 he was united in marriage to Susan Kilburg in Jackson County. He was a laborer, jack of all trades and a handyman. He worked for Smitty Construction. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Maquoketa. Keith was a hard worker who was there to help anyone who needed it. He enjoyed being a prankster. He loved his family and grandsons. His laugh was contagious to whoever was around.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Susan Wagner of Maquoketa, four children; Charlie O’Shogay of Tama Iowa, Lindsay O’Shogay of Coolidge, Arizona, Braina Jenkins of Cabool, Missouri, Nicholas Wagner of Westminster, Colorado, three grandsons, his mother Anna Marie Wagner, a sister Korene (Mike) Shady of Maquoketa two brothers; Kenny (LuAnn) Wagner of Maquoketa and Karl (Carol) Wagner of Bellevue.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents and father.

Memorials may be left for the family in his honor.
