So sorry dear to hear your mother has passed away. It sounds like she had a full and wonderful life.. which is such a blessing. It is never easy to let them go, however, no matter how old or sick they are. We all only have one mother...may the Lord hold you close at this sad time...love, kayxo

My condolences & prayers for YeVon's family. I know she is celebrating with Jesus now & having a wonderful time in Heaven & we should be delighted about this, but she will be missed by many of us!! I talked with her a few times when she helped the Grateful Threads sewing & quilting group in our church. Last summer I was privileged to see many of YeVon's quilts shown at my mother's quilting club in Maquoketa. She was always interesting to talk to & she was an inspiration to me. No doubt there are friends around her in Heaven enjoying her stories.

I am so grateful that was able to come for a visit to reconnect with family. I have wonderful memories listening to family stories. I was amazed at her ability to identify family and stories in photos. I was impressed with her strong independent personality. I was certainly blessed to see her before her passing. As hard as it is to say goodbye and let go, we know she is at peace and with our heavenly Father, family and friends. She was a wonderful and honorable woman to be proud of.
