John Paul Healy was born July 20, 1913, in Hillsboro, Wisconsin,
son of Morgan & Ellen (Conway) Healy. He attended the University
of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. He married Hulda Berner on
December 18, 1945, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan.
He was a machinist for Clinton Engines in Maquoketa and Collins Radio
in Cedar Rapids, retiring in 1975.
Mr. Healy served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was
a member
of the First Lutheran Church, Timber City American Legion Post #75,
and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Club in Maquoketa.
He was a long time Chicago Cubs fan.

He is survived by his wife Hulda Healy of Peachtree City, Georgia;
his children, Sharon (Gary) Brown of Peachtree City, Georgia,
Patrick (Rebecca) Healy of DeWitt, and
Margaret (Bill) Ostrander of Brighton, Colorado;
10 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and
nieces & nephews.
Mr. Healy was preceded in death by his parents, Morgan & Ellen Healy,
a sister, Helen Healy and two brothers, Bernard and Edward Healy.

John Paul Healy, 96, of Peachtree City, Georgia, and formerly of Maquoketa, Iowa, died Friday, July 31, 2009, at Riverdale, Georgia, following a brief illness.
