Lois Ann (Andersen) Edleman was born in Maquoketa, Iowa,
on December 25, 1930, at home to Carl and Mary (Kent) Andersen.
She graduated from Maquoketa High School in 1948. She was united
in marriage to Terry Teramae on June 5, 1949, in Miles, Iowa, and they
later divorced. On September 20, 1958, she married Donald Edleman
at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. He preceded her in death
on May 30, 1994.
Lois resided in Delmar the majority of her life and retired from nursing.
She enjoyed playing cards, music and dancing and spending time with
her family and wide circle of friends. She moved to Coralville in 2004.

She is survived by three daughters, Jan Teramae and Pam Teramae,
both of Coralville, and Sherri (Jay) Hughes of Preston;
one son, Bill (Lynne) Edleman of Mechanicsville;
5 grandchildren, Michael, Ashlee, Austin, Elizabeth and Jacob;
and 3 great-grandchildren, Amanda, Bridget and Sam.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers,
one nephew and one niece.

Lois Ann Edleman, 78, of Coralville, formerly of Delmar, Iowa,
passed away Wednesday morning, August 26, 2009, at Windmill Manor
in Coralville, Iowa.
|
Her family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Windmill Manor
where she spent the last years of her life. Through it all, her sense of humor remained intact, and she will be greatly missed by those who knew her best.
