Robert James Chase was born January 28, 1929, in Jackson County, Iowa,
son of Myron James and Viola Elsie (Brundage) Chase.
He attended Jackson County rural schools.
He married Delores Yates in 1993 in Moline, Illinois.
He was a corpsman serving in the US Army and the US Navy.
He worked for Farmall-International in Rock Island as a machinist for 21 years,
retiring in 1983.

Bob is survived by his wife, Delores Chase of Maquoketa;
one sister, Joyce Switzer of Maquoketa;
2 children, step-children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ted & Eugene.

at Crestridge Nursing Home, Maquoketa.
