Daniel Kaczinski

February 5, 1962 ~ March 7, 2017 (age 55) 55 Years Old

Daniel Joseph Kaczinski, 55, passed away at home in East Moline, March 7 of colon/liver cancer. A natural passing wake was held. Private graveside will be held and interment will be at the family plot in the Andrew, Iowa cemetery, by Pastor Judy Heinrich. Lahey Funeral Home in Maquoketa is caring for the family at this time.

Daniel was born on February 5, 1962 at the Jackson County Public Hospital to Mavis (Keeney) Kaczinski and Duaine John Kaczinski Sr. He was baptized by Pastor Harold Kumpf in First Lutheran Church in Maquoketa, Iowa.

Daniel grew up on the family farm at Petersville, Iowa. He graduated early, at age 17 from Delwood High school, class of  1980. He entered into the marines for 4 years. Daniel graduated from the Marine Refrigeration/Heating and air conditioning school. After his discharge Dan worked all his working years in commercial R/H/A in the Quad Cities.

Daniel enjoyed camping, boating, and fishing with his companion Kim, and his children.

Left to cherish his memories are his companion, Kim McReynolds, his four children; Garret Kaczinski of Dewitt, Iowa, Joseph Kaczinski of Grand Mound, Iowa, Dylan Kaczinski (Eleana Buckley) and their son Emmett of Dewitt, Iowa, and Rachel Kaczinski of Dewitt, Iowa, Mother, Mavis Keeney Kaczinski of Petersville, Iowa, Father Duaine Kaczinski Sr. (Deb Soldaat) of Hurstville, Iowa, niece Kaitlyn (Wayne) Brewington and their son Raleigh of Columbus, GA., aunts, uncles, cousins, and his many friends.

Preceding him was his only sibling, brother Duaine John Jr., an Army Major in 2009, grandparents; John Kaczinski, Arlene (Peters) Kaczinski, Stern and Melvin (Violet) Felderman Keeney.

May Daniel and those preceding him Rest in Peace.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice, or First Lutheran Church.
