Helen L Muhl

Helen Muhl, 95, of Oxford Junction passed away at the Maquoketa Care Center on July 8, 2019.

A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Mayflower Cemetery in Oxford Junction at 11:00 a.m. Lahey and Dawson Funeral Service is assisting the family at this time.

Helen Louise Harms was born on April 16, 1924 to Fred and Bess (Wosoba) Harms. She married Merle H. Muhl on January 3, 1942 in Oxford Junction.

Helen was an excellent cook and an even better seamstress. She cooked in many different places and was a seamstress for many years. Her kids were her life.

Those left to cherish her memories are her three children; Linda (Doug) Witte of Tucson, AZ., Craig (Arla) Muhl of Wheatland, IA., Kim (Freeda) Muhl of Marion, IA., eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Fred Harms.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to her family in her honor.
