Mary Jessica Feddersen

Mary Jessica Barber Feddersen passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Taylor House in Des Moines, Iowa.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lost Nation, Iowa at 2:00 p.m. Friends may call from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Grand Mound.

 She was the daughter of Leslie an Alma Goettch Barber. She was born on September 3, 1921. She graduated from Grand Mound High School in May of 1939.

She married

 Ralph Feddersen of Calamus on October 9, 1940. They had two daughters. Mary was a house wife and mother of her two daughters.

Ralph passed away on July 22, 1983.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters Judith Ann Byerly and Joyce Elaine Perkins, three grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Mary’s family in her honor.
