Dear Smiths and Gruenwalds,
I am so terribly sorry and saddened to hear of Ty's passing. I knew her as a friend and coworker on 4RC. She was my favorite charge nurse. She was so hard-working, managing 47-beds...a very difficult job. I loved her most because of her willingness to help. She was genuine in all of her actions. She was an amazing nurse. Ty meant so much to me personally especially during my move from IA to WI two years ago (Aug 2015). I remember calling her during this stressful time in my life and she was there for me . She listened. She understood. She cared. I wanted you guys to know how special she was to me and how she made a difference in my life. God is with her and your family.

I am so deeply saddened to hear of her passing. It's hard to imagine the depths of grief when losing someone so loved, so close to you until you've experienced it. There is nothing I can say to you to ease your pain except you will always have the love between you, always have the memories of family times and those quiet moments of just the two of you. I had visited with Tyanna several times on 4RCP when she was the charge nurse. She was always welcoming and on top of the events on the unit. You could tell she loved being a nurse. My deepest sympathy to your family at this time of loss.
