Jody Ann (Bennett) Feuss

Jody Ann Feuss, 68, of Lost nation passed away unexpectedly on Saturday August 6, 2022 at

Genesis East Hospital in Davenport.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 4-7 at Dawson Funeral Services in

Maquoketa. Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at

Union Presbyterian Church in Lost Nation. A private burial will be held at a later date at

Smithtown Cemetery, rural Lost Nation.

Jody was born on December 26, 1953 in DeWitt to Donald and Beulah (Snyder) Bennett. She

graduated from Lost Nation High School in 1972. On July 16, 1972 she was united in marriage

to David Feuss. Jody was a cook at the Lost Nation school for over 20 years. She was also a

member of the Community Church of Toronto for many years. She enjoyed spending time with

her family, especially her grandchildren. They held a special place in her heart.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband David, three children; Shane Feuss, Heath

(Patricia) Feuss, Ashley Feuss, four grandchildren and honorary pallbearers; Carley, Gweneth,

Wyatt, and Rylan, Her mother Beulah Bennett, three sisters; Denise (Jon) Galloway, Tammi

(Kent) Rockow, Penny (Daniel) Nuti, two brothers; Lon Bennett, and Clint (Deanne) Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her father Don Bennett and brother Danny Bennett.
