Lucille Naydeen Kinion

Lucille Naydeen Kinion, 99, of Monmouth passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the Clarence Nursing Home.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Dawson Funeral Services in Wyoming. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, April 19 at the Wyoming Cemetery.

Lucille Naydeen was born on March 3, 1923 in Ohio to Earl and Nina (Wemmer) Frazee. She graduated from Columbus East High School in Columbus, Ohio. On January 23, 1946 she was united in marriage to Herbert Kinion in Ironton, Ohio. She is a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Monmouth. Naydeen enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She made and donated hundreds of blankets over the years. She loved playing cards especially Euchre and Pinochle. Naydeen was always in the kitchen baking or canning. She cherished spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Dale (Judy) Kinion and Lynn Kinion of Monmouth, six grandchildren; Stacey Chelf, Adam Kinion, Michelle Burk, Mitchell, Matthew and Melissa Kinion and several great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by parents, husband, Sisters; Grace Barnett and Laura McCance, five brothers; Charles, James, Melvin, Jack, Richard and Paul in infancy and a grandson Todd Kinion.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed in Naydeen’s honor to Dawson Funeral Services Po Box 258 Wyoming, Iowa 52362.
