Patricia "Patsy" Cahill

Patricia “Patsy” Cahill, 66, of Delmar passed away on July 21, 2021 at her home.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Dawson Funeral Services in Maquoketa. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 26 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Dawson Funeral Services in Maquoketa. Burial will take place at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Delmar.

Patricia Ann was born on March 16, 1955 in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin to Ambrose and Lois (Nedham) Scott. On March 5, 1994 she was united in marriage to Terry Cahill in Maquoketa. Patsy worked as a Medical Assistant and a CNA at Crestridge and Cloverridge in Maquoketa. She loved canning the vegetables from her garden and cooking for her family and friends. She would spend her time fishing, camping and tending to her flower garden.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Terry, four children; Archie Ralston of Dubuque, Jason Ralston of Maquoketa, Jamie (Angi) Ralston of DewItt, Sarah Francois of Davenport, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a sister Suzanne Scott of Beloit, Wisconsin and two brothers; David (Susie) Scott of Maquoketa, Kerry (Chris) Scott of Baldwin and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Judy Putnam and a brother Allan Scott.
