Reginald L. Biggs

Reginald Leroy Biggs “Reggie” passed away on June 6, 2017 at his home in Wyoming.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Edgington, Illinois at 11:00 a.m.

 Reginald Leroy Biggs was born on February 23, 1941 in Ft. Morgan, Colorado to Emil and Leona (Roberts) Biggs. He graduated from Campion Academy in Loveland, Colorado and was a member of the  Seventh Day Avendist and graduated from the academy at church. He worked as a truck driver for over 50 years and worked for Amhof for over 15 years. He faithfully and honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1961-1962.

He married Betty Lou Martin on September 7, 2000 in Davenport, Iowa.

Reggie was a member of the Wyoming American Legion post 259. He always gave and never wanted to receive anything.

Those left to cherish his memories his wife Betty, children; Mike (Debbie) Biggs Ramona (Michael) Wrege, Larry Biggs, Regina Biggs all of Colorado, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, step-children Brian Shepherd, Kimberly (Todd) Briggs, Stephen (Sarah) Lane, six step-grandchildren Anthony, Braydon, Avalee, Jaycob, Coleman, Zachary, and a brother-in-law Steve Duncan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Myrna Duncan, and one nephew.
