Funeral Director/ Owner
Courtney Dawson originated from Mechanicsville, Iowa daughter of Tom and Judy Strickler. She graduated from North Cedar High School in 2008 then attended Des Moines Area Community College for Mortuary Science. She now resides in Wyoming, Iowa with her husband Chad and their children.
Richard Henshaw
Maintenance
Richard Henshaw resides in Maquoketa with his wife Alice. He has worked for Lahey & Dawson Funeral Service since 2005.
Anikah Boettcher
Preplanning Counselor/Funeral Assistant
Anikah Boettcher originated from Clarence, Iowa the daughter of Jeremy and Bethany Boettcher. She is graduating from North Cedar High School in 2023 and will be attending DMACC in the fall. Anikah has recently received her Preplanning License and is ready to help you make your future arrangements, She will be residing in Maquoketa and is looking forward to continue working in these communities.
